Interview: Big T
We recently got a chance to get to know artist Big T in the interview below. Check it out!
Who are your current inspirations in the music industry?
Big T: My current inspirations are Jhus, Dave, Naira Marley, Chip, Headie One, Digga D. Each of them have all Contributed to unknowingly creating the artist, Big T.
How would you describe your sound/style?
Big T: My sound is different, flows and lyricism are different. My sound is nothing but a vibe. You won’t be able to say you can sit down and not rock your head. My sound is for all ears.
How do you go about writing a song and what is your process?
Big T: I listen to the beat and whatever the beat says to me, I say it out. The only thing I do is find a flow or melody, a sound that I know can ride the beat. I might keep changing the sound, until I find one that fits well enough.
What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually used?
Big T: Be yourself and invest in yourself. The mic can tell when you’re lying. The more you can risk to invest in yourself the better quality you’ll get back. Everything will just be a better process.
Will you be collaborating with any other artists in the future?
Big T: Most definitely. As to who ? I’m not sure. But I definitely know I’ll start off with my guys on the side. There’s enough talent where I’m from and we all have to eat.
If you could work with any producer who would it be?
Big T: My number 1 producer to work with would be Jae5, 110%! To me he’s my number 1 top producer in the scene.
Where can the fans check out your music news?
Big T: They can always be kept up to date on my Instagram @big_tee_official.
What separates you from other artists?
Big T: My style of music. Most artist create the same thing. Deliver music the same way. Display music the same way. I’m trying to be different. My style is more relaxed, it’s cheeky, it’s real! And most important of all, it’s relatable even within it’s difference.
